Werewolves of Strength
Scientific Name: Lupus vulgaris
Size
They are taller than the average human. In human form they average 6'0" in males and 5'5" in females, where as in werewolf form, Gestalts average 6'7" in males and 5'10" in females.
Location
Like all werewolf species they can be found worldwide. Gestalts originated in Russia with the highest density of these werewolves being here.
Lifespan
Gestalt's can live for over a hundred years. They are at there strongest around thrity to ninety years of age, but after about hundred and fifty years their strength diminshed to a point were they can no longer shift unless under extreme emotional stress.
Appearance
Like all werewolves they have enlarged canines. They also have darker skin, hair and eye colours in human form due to the increased melanin in their bodies though it isn't uncommon to see a white or blonde Gestalt. A distinct feature of the Gestalt is that the base fur colour in werewolf form carries over to the human form leading to an unsual patches of white fur on the chest and abdomen areas.
In werewolf form, they have a full body fur which is longer on the head from the remnants of the human hair. They have long wolf-like heads with eye colouring varying from common yellows and ambers to rare blues and greens. The neck is felxible enough to prevent the haunched look when the Gestalt is standing or on all-fours. The hands are human like with wolf claws and pads that cover the underside of the hand. They arms are slightly longer than in human form and the legs are digitigrade. The tail hangs down past the heel.
There is a slight difference between males and female forms. Females have soft, slight swelligs were their breasts where and have slimmer bodies and muzzles. Males are stockier than females and have sheaths. Both appear stremlined and sleek.
Characterisitics
They are much stronger and faster than humans in their human form. The combination of wolf and human in the Gestalt's werewolf form makes it the strongest of the werewolf species. Males are stronger than females but females are more agile than males. Gestalt's are also fast healers and usually leave no evidence of wounds 24 hours afterwards with the exception of silver wounds. They are allergic to silver though not to the same extent as Lycans. Silver prevents fast and sometimes complete healing in a wound and may give slight discomfort to the werewolf in any form.
Senses
Gestalts in human form experience amplified senses. While the senses are not as strong as the Lycans in werewolf form they can be tuned with experience to compare with the Lycans. There is no noticeable difference between the forms.
Communication
In werewolf form they can converse between themselves, other werewolf species and wolves. Though their speech is still wolf-like it isn't as primeval as the Lycans allowing some communication between wolves though many misunderstandings have been caused because the werewolf was not skilled enough.
Diet
They are omnivorous with an enlarged appetite for meat.
Habits
In werwolf form, they can be bipedal and quadrepedal. When running on all fours they resemble that of the rolling gait of a charging bear when running though this evens out as they reach their top speed until they appear to be gracefully skimming the ground.
Breeding
Gestalt's can give birth in both forms though only human babies are birthed. They do not have a main breeding season. Their gestational period is much like that of humans as it lasts about 9 months.
Society
Gestalt's are very social and tend to stay in close knit communities of more than thirty individuals unlike Alpha and Beta werewolves that have smaller packs of blood relations only. Within these communities there are more than one breeding couple usually with many small families making up one large pack. Rogues are usually welcomed into these communities unless they have been marked as outcast because of a crime they have commented usually from the harming of a youngling.
Creation/Becoming
You can only become a werewolf if both your parents are werewolves. They have been cases of a child being born as a werewolf to a family with one or no werewolf parents as the gene can be passed on, even skipping a generation, though this is very rare.
Destruction/Killing
Silver bullets are ineffective unless delievered to the heart like an ordinary bullet. Sudden impact to the head and major internal systems cand kill a Gestalt though this is harder to accomplish. They can be decapitated though it is not worth the effort when a bullet to the head or heart will kill them.

Werewolf Psychological Disorders.
Normal werewolf psychology
One would probably be interested in the psychological aspect of a werewolf. Under normal conditions a werewolf's mind is largely human but with wolfish aspects mixed in. It can not be emphasized enough that a healthy werewolf mind is one mind. Human reasoning, wolfish instinct, and a balance between nature and the wilderness of today's modern world.
A note on instinct. Instinct is what it is. It is not something that one realizes before the event but rather during. It takes a well trained mind to realize what instinct is doing and be able to alter it. It is easy to a

Moonborn: Werewolf Info
Females
There are no natural-born female werewolves known to exist today, and there haven't been for centuries. All females that exist were exposed to the virus through a bite, or other means (introduction of infected blood into the bloodstream, infected saliva coming into contact with an open wound, etc). The reason for this is quite simple and begins on a microscopic level. The lycanthropy virus makes werewolves superior to humans in nearly every way, including their sperm. Male-making sperm cells outrun and destroy female-making ones, ensuring that any offspring conceived are male. This process is so effective that a female werewolf is onl
